One of the way to travel to Tioman is through the ferry from Mersing Jetty. Mersing itself is a popular town for travelers. Another way to go Tioman is through Tanjung Gemuk ferry terminal which is near to Mersing. Express buses services are available near to the ferry terminal.

Please note that the timetable is no longer up-to-date. The ferry departures tend to vary daily, subject to tidal changes, weather and sea state.
Also, ticket prices are generally RM70 for a return (round-trip). Kids below 2 years old travel free. Note that ferry departures before 7am and after 6pm are charged at RM90 for a return (round-trip).
Lastly, due to the crowds in Mersing, ferry tickets best be booked in advance, for example by calling Blue Water or online on the www.tiomanferry.com website.
